Take it Easy

Bessie and Lulu here to say Take it Easy, if you can.

If you aren't on the street, looking for your next meal.
Or fighting off fleas and other parasites.
Or running from humans who don't like kitties, especially BLACK cats...
Or minding traffic that doesn't look for small creatures trying to survive as best they can...

Well, then you can consider it a good day. We love being inside, having our coats shiny and beautiful, our food readily available, and lots of toys, cat nip and treats.

Z-Girl came back from a trip to NYC yesterday and reported seeing a man waiting for the train with a beautiful kitty in a carrier. He was just rescued from the kill list at the shelter. So today is a nice, easy Sunday for that 3 year old beautiful boy. But we know, many others wait for their furrever homes, or for someone to rescue them. Not so easy...

Whatever you do, give a helping paw. And enjoy every bit of your comforts. They are true gifts.

We just learned it was a group named the Eagles who sing a song Take it Easy...seeing an eagle would be wonderfully entertaining to us--we can't imagine seeing a whole GROUP of them...

Bessie and Lulu, Over and Out...

  1. What a beautiful post. We are so happy for that lucky kitty you saw in NYC. But we're purring and praying for all the kitties who still have no home.

...did you know that the Eagles are Gloman and Glogirly's favorite band? They would LOVE to see a group of Eagles!

  2. The Eagles sing lots of good songs, don't they?
The kitty I saw in NYC was so beautiful and had pale blue eyes. He was very content to be sitting in his carrier. It's as if he knew he found the right guy to save him.

  3. What a lovely post. Our family of eight felines knows very well how blessed and lucky they are to live in a warm and loving home. Because they feel every kitty should have the same, they try very hard to make the world a better place for cats...

    We love your site!!
