Sunday Selfie: PAD Paws is launched!

Hi Everyone, it's Bessie.

Z-Girl took this photo of me earlier this week. I think it's appropriate for today's Sunday Selfie Blog Hop:
Can you believe that I once lived in a flea-infested hole under a warehouse with my two kittens? Now I command the finer things in life, including lots of pets and snuggle time with Z-Girl.

While I'm here, Z-Girl asked me to announce that PAD Paws is officially a non-profit! Hooray! And, to aid in the current rescue and rehoming missions, please visit our Rescue Me tab where you can also make a donation. Even better if you or someone you know would like to adopt!

This is a blog hop posted by our furiends at The Cat on My Head. Stop by to see all the fun selfies from our fellow blogging pals!

Bessie out.

    1. Thank mew, Annie. It was a sad start and I lost some of my kittens (was only found with two survivors). Lulu and I were kept together and that makes me very happy, we sleep, eat and play together every day. Our hope it to put our paws together with other rescues to help bring all kitties from the shadows into safe and loving homes. We appreciate you stopping by!

    1. Mr. Kevin, you know how hard Aunt Nat and Z-Girl have worked over the past years to rescue and rehome, so we are happy to have you help us celebrate the non profit status. Now we can join paws with other groups and do even more to positively impact this worthy cause! Thank mew for stopping by...we just love all your at home kitties and the wonderful cats you care for until they find furever families!!!

    1. Thank mew, I love my home. It's purrfect for me! My start was quite sad, it's true. But then I was found and even though I made it really challenging for Aunt Nat and Z-Girl, they didn't give up until they had me and my kittens safely their care. We wish the same for all kitties living in the shadows...appreciate you stopping by!

    1. It's super exciting news! We can't wait to do some fundraisers and things like that to have the resources to help more kitties! BTW--I love this bed. It's purrfect for me...please ignore the non-matching blanket, Z-Girl tries to keep from getting my beautiful black fur all over everything (what???) and that blanket is very special to us Squeedunk cats. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Why thank mew! I'm quite happy and peaceful on my perch, also known as Z-Girl's bed :) We think all kitties deserve homes and the spoils of life off the streets. Purrs to you, Island Cats!

  12. Every cat should live in the lap of luxury. It pains us that they don't, but we are super happy to see that you were able to trade that warehouse for your now cushy home. Thanks so much for being part of our blog hop this week. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    1. I sure did land in it, you said it! We have lots of toys and great blankets to sleep on, a wonderful flokati rug under the bed...good treats and tons of pets and snuggle time. Miss Natalie did all the terrible paperwork, Z-Girl is more of the silent partner of the team--although she does help by feeding the outdoor colony. Thanks for dropping by! Purrs....
